Any time I send a message with no attachment in Outlook the message automatically stores in Sent Items. When I send a message with an attachment however the message and attachment disappears without trace ie . no copy is stored in the sent items folder . Has anyone come across this problem please ?

I have a Windows 2000 PC which has a CD Drive and a CD writer installed. This PC is used on a Novell 5 network.The CD writer is assigned the letter F which is normally my first network drive. How can I change this drive letter to some other letter please ?
When you say that 1 pc "corrupts" the disks are they totally corrupted or can they still be read on the "dodgy" PC. I am asking this because if you format the disks on say a Windows XP PC and then try them on a Windows 95 PC you can encounter problems !
My CD Rom drive will not play music at all, I have checked the cables and the device manager and there is no obvious error on either. I can access data on ant CD I try so it appears to be "sound specific" . Any Ideas , folks ?

FYI, It appears that this is an Excell issue. The issue was finally resolved when a Euro conversion software patch was installed on my pc ! Thins are now working properly , fingers crossed.
Try installing your "old Hard Disk" as a slave hard drive in another pc . Just swap it with the cd and see if it is still accessible. This will at least prove the state of your hard disk drive, best of luck !
