This is a fresh install of windows98 after I did a format of the 2gig drive. I've had probs all along the way-this being my first time didn't help. Windows98 Freezes on New Startup
After much ado I've gotten my Win98 install up to the point of the logo-which froze, so I set the logo to 0 in the msdos.sys file. Now I see the reason of the freeze which is 'program cannot be run in dos'. Now how do I find out what program this is that is trying to run? This is an older...- plock
