If the job initially is asking for different media, then Veritas thinks different media is in the drive. You will want to insert the media you want to restore from into the drive, then inventory the drive so that Veritas knows what media is in the drive. Then run the catalog job.

Are you using roaming profiles? If so it may be corrupt, we had a similiar problem, we had to delete the roaming profile and rebuild it. The registry hack only worked for us on screen savers.
