    66 Block wiring

The phone system is an NEC Univerge NEAX 2000 IPS. Yes, Ryan EOD, that was all I was attempting to do. I was able to move one of the analog extensions over last night. I attempted one of the digital lines and I couldn't get it to work. I think I need two pairs for those. I'm going to attempt...

    66 Block wiring

Thanks CWC3, the blue yellow rang the bell I needed. Actually, crowtalks, I have 20 lines coming, all but 4 our dedicated. Two of the remaining 4 are to call outside only from the extensions and the other two are for incoming calls to the extensions. My explanation wasn't really great and I...

    66 Block wiring

About 10 years ago I used to be responsible for the telephone system at my old employer. At my new employer, the phone system was handled by a guy from administration. He recently left the company and they gave me the phone system. There was no documentation and the phone closet was a mess...

    NETBIOS

Thank you and yes. We'll be replacing with an ASA device in the next couple of months.

    NETBIOS

Actually my issue ended up not being a NETBIOS issue after all. I was also working on a new DMZ and inadvertently change a NAT statement on my PIX. Added the statement back, turned NETBIOS back off and we're operatinal again.

    NETBIOS

We have Cisco equipment and we have at least 8 3500 switches on the floor as well as 3 aironet AP's so MACing could be difficult. Eveything within my internal domain is having no trouble with sharing and mapping. Seems only to be a problem with the VPN clients which are on a different octet...

    NETBIOS

I did reverse the netbios and it didn't. You can enable/disable netbios from the TCPIP properties under the advanced tab. It's dynamic. Once you check or uncheck, it takes affect. We do have a policy in place and the perpetrators face up to dismissal. We have a fully-functional secured...

    NETBIOS

I turned off NETBIOS because someone in our factory keeps connecting a wireless router to our system bypass our Internet access rules on off shifts. It was the only way I could think of to prevent unauthorized workgroups from showing up on our network. I'm not sure if I stopped them or not...

    DMZ

Sorry about the late reply. You were correct, I had the DMZ not natting, but using the internal address. So simple, huh? Thank you.

    DMZ

I'm having a awful time. I've had a Cisco engineer help me and we're not getting anywhere. According to the CE, there is nothing wrong with my configuration and I don't believe it is also. My issue: I have a 3500 switch that is configured for the DMZ it has static outside/dmz IP"s That...

Form results not showing on web page

Thanks in advance for the help. I have a Frontpage 2003 based Intranet. I have a form so that departments can update their departmental announcements. I have the results sent to a file and want that file to display on the same web page. On my edit page, it says "Forms Results Inserted Here"...

    Intranet

It was from Microsoft and it was the 60 minute Intranet Kit. It seems the only problem I'm having is with the search page. It's supposed to query the indexing service catalog and if not available use the frontpage search.

    Intranet

I downloaded a 60-minute Intranet package for FrontPage 2000. It had everything we needed. I have FrontPage 2003, so I thought it would be no problem to customize with our coumpany information and publish. The customizing and publishing were no problem. However, I cannot get any of the...

    Windows 2000 Domain upgrade

Just to clarify.. I plan to demote the current PDC and make it just a file server and one other. On the new box, I plan to create a new AD schema using the same domain name.

    Windows 2000 Domain upgrade

Not really, but kind of, because of a few legal issues and customer requirements, I can't change the domain name. I have to upgrade one at a time and pretty much have the same domain environment.

    Windows 2000 Domain upgrade

We are upgrading all of our servers to 2003. The AD is just a mess, old accounts, incorrect secruity groups, duplicates in groups, etc. Which is why I want a new PDC, set up without all of the duplication and such.

    Windows 2000 Domain upgrade

There are no real errors. The problem is with the AD setup, which is why I want to start fresh with the new server. The mixed domain has always been an issue, which is why I reformated my one 2003 DC to Windows 2000 a year or so ago, and left the others as non-DC's.

    Windows 2000 Domain upgrade

Just looking for some sage advice. I have 11 servers. All but three are Windows 2000 servers. Those 3 are Windows 2003. I'm beginning to have problems with my domain, so I want to upgrade my 2000 servers to 2003. I have 4 DC's. One is primary DNS, one is secondary DNS and DHCP, my primary DC...

    Desktop Macros

Does anyone know of a way to run a print document macro from a Windows XPP desktop? For instance, I have label files and I want the operator to just click on the appropriate title and the label prints. I can't find documentation anywhere on anything like this.
