I have tried the same with Windows 2000 clients... it doesn't work with that either... So, you and me must be missing something

You can try making them a member of the local Power Users group... The PU group is much safer...

Can you ping any other computers? Guess not... Blatantly obvious would be to right click on the network connection and click on enable!! And of course you could have the drivers not configured properly... One more thing you can try is Install the NetBEUI protocol... if by any chance it isn't...

Logon to a client and see the network identification out there.... does it show the .com name?
