I never knew XP had a safe mode. How do I get there? By the way the problem has worsened the slider now just flies up or down and stays there absolutely unmovable!!!- Dim3000

For 2 days now I'm having the following problem: The slidebar at the side of directories or programmes suddenly flies up or down and there is nothing I can do to prevent it, making looking at directory content or internet sites near to impossible.
