Just when I thought it was going to work! SP4 resolved the agent config and now the backup job cannot send or receive data. I've now filed a request with CAI for support.

Solution was relatively simple. Install SP4 onto the Arcserve server and also install the same package onto any servers running agents.

Hi Alan, You're experiencing exactly the same problem as myself. No matter how I configure the agent it will show as: Cannot configure SYSTEM account Cannot read registry Cannot get exchange server name from registry I'll keep you posted if I get any joy. Cheers A.
