Help needed ...
I have several Domino Servers running Notes R5.
I have noticed that Notes fragments the Data Drive.
Server OS: Windows 2000 Server
Do any of you guru's have any solution to this "problem" except the obvious ... Using a third party product eg. Diskeeper ?
Thankful
The Windows Server 2003 is 32-Bit, but the Enterprise Edition and the DataCenter-Edition is available with 64-Bit.
Only Intel Itanium-based computers.
If there is a need and you have enough MONEY you can get 64-Bit support ...
yert33 - "CIA was involved in the early development days of Notes." ... There has been no development done to Notes since the dawn of time ... It's a prehistorical system ...
Exchange is the future ...
Yes - you can write applications for Exchange ...
Exchange have multitasking...
Exchange vs. Notes/Domino ... Exchange is and has always been a mailsystem. Lotus Notes is not ... Domino is a powerful database ... and should not called a mailsystem just because it can "talk" SMTP !!!
Before, my life was fine and dandy ... Now it is awful
- Thank you Notes...
No, Glen ... It doesn't work with W2K and XP ... This problem could be caused by a local user and a domain user sharing the same NETBIOS name but different passwords ...
I could be wrong ... a admit to that but ...
Try changing the password of the local user
The Administrator should be able to reset the password via the Adminconsole ... The administrator always has full access to all id's ! Try asking your administrator
Try downloading an "older" mousedriver or if you're using a microsoft scrollmouse try logitech's driver ... It work's like a charm for me .....
It feels funny to downgrade but in the Lotus Universe it's the right thing to do !
