If you have recordings enabled at a Hunt Group level, is there any way to display the individual's extension (or username) in the results section? As it shows now, we only see the inbound CID and corresponding hunt group extension which would need to a lot of searching if we wanted to sort by...
Is there a way to configure the amount of time that the phone will ring at the covered extension?
Currently, it seems as if the original extension gets about 2 rings (or 10 seconds), it jumps to the covered extension for which it may only get 5 seconds or 1 ring, then falls back to the...
I'm sure this has been asked before, so maybe someone can point me to a thread that may be all inclusive of the upgrade I'm trying to perform.
I have a pretty old install of an IP 406V2 running 3.1(56) firmware on the DS module and a couple of DS30's that have 5.1
My Voicemail pro is also 3.1...
Problem is resolved (sort of)...the phone is actually forwarding correctly, which wasn't able to be determined due to being off site, and some poor testing on my part... Also, the fact that it was jumping back to the voicemail on the source IP Office led me to believe that it was never...
Thanks for the reply... It's actually set up as an unconditional forward so no intervention exists. The troubling thing is that it did work and just stopped... I've rebooted the switch, messed with the settings by disabling, re-enabling and merging config back in.
On an IP Office 406 running 3.1(65) I had forwarding to external #'s working fine (allowed outgoing transfer is checked off). We since upgraded to VMPro, changing nothing else and calls are no longer fowarding out, but here's the odd thing...If you dial the 4 digit extension, or the...
Not much material out there as to whether there is a benefit of using this or not (in Windows). Most "how to's" list that you should disable this option in the config, but that goes against all documentation saying that performance will greatly increase if you have the cache turned on, be it by...
Ah, the dummy email account in the "account window" did it. Thanks much for the help! The SMTP server was apparently rejecting the messages because of that missing value.
Attempting to send email alerts using SMTP and changed the settings in voicemail pro to use SMTP and not MAPI, then configured the IP address of an internal SMTP server (NOT exchange). I'm able to telnet to the smtp box from my vmail server and send messages via command line, but the IP office...
I notice this happening on two different IPO 406v2's I recently installed, but it happens on the phones that are on the expansion modules and not the master module. The phones just have weird DTMF tones that don't correspond with what you would normally hear from touch tones.
Thanks for the suggestions. You kind of lost me there when you mentioned "or be running voicemail" The PC that I'm doing the admin on is running VM Pro (and manager), but the voicemail console wasn't open. The server itself has not been rebooted, only the control unit, and my time server is...
Ok, just did that and has 0.0.0.0 setting after a merge config... does this require a full reboot, or would a merge alone suffice until it does its polling?
Having a similar issue. Rebooted the switch last night, and all phones still are an hour ahead. The time server it's pointing to is my DC, which has correct time, and I've kept the manager open as well.
The Call Monitor shows the following which is odd:
********** contact made with...
I have a directory locked down in one of my sites to challenge with a login/password using a simple require valid user authorization set in htaccess
Is there a combination that will allow me to set a virtual host to "allow from 172.17.0.0" , effectively bypassing the need to login using the...
Having not set this up originally, I'm not too proficient with the programming or know how some of it was configured. Having said that, I've currently got 4 lines coming in from Telco in a hunt group (2 more to be added, once I add an additional 308EC card). Right now, we've got the Auto...
