Let me take a common example to explain my situation:
Country--> Region --> City
level 1 --> level2 --> level3
In the typical scenerio Region values get filtered based on Country selection; and city selection gets filtered based on Region.
In my situation it is as follows
Country -->...
I need to create dynamic cascading parameter with multiple level 2 parameters. For example;
Say we have
Level 1 - Living things
level 2 - Birds
level 2 - Animals
level 2 - Fishes
etc.
Can this possible?

You need third party tools do that. Few I can think are from APOS and Software Forces Llc. They give interface through which you can re-schedules a lot of reports at once.

Does this box has crystal reports and if it does, does the report run the on the the server?. Always log on to the server using the same logon under which all the CE services run. This way you won't have to second guess the permission issues.

Please don't use the RDC. It is being deprecated. Check the crystal reports XI for futher information.
I saw this information on Crystal Reports XI Release 2 documentation.

You can check the rights using one of the tools that is available in "Crystal Enterprise Admin Launchpad" page. The tool name is "Object Rights Table". With this tool, you can check which user/group has what rights for each report/and folder. This will help you to narrow down report access...
Caimoss is wrong.
If the licenses are purchased based on Concurrent User / Named User; it does not matter how many processors a box might have and crystal enterprise should use all of them.
If they are not using, contact crystal support; or talk to your windows administration/your hardware...
Migration has many routes.
1. Plain; move the old code base without changing anything.
2. Consolidate formulas, logos (images); copyright text and then publish in a repository; so that formulas can be managed and shared across different individuals and reports.
The second option is lengthy...
Open the crystal reports client and save the new version on top of the existing version. You do this by saving the report as "save as" to Enterprise folder and then navigate to your specific folder.

We have created a artificial time lines for each refresh/backup and those events never occur before.
As we use SQL Server databases, we have created a DTS package for each file event; Say the reports need to go out for server A is defined as 3:00 am then the reports are scheduled to run before...
The best thing is still the file based event driven. That's how we implement all our reports at run. Each database refresh and backup creates a file event and the reports connected to those events fire off. We have more than 200 reports and about 2000+ schedules per week. Hence I don't agree...
Backup your input repository as that will store all the reports and later manually open one at a time to get to the reports.

Another important thing you should be aware of, the report selection formula should not change. If it does, the report will have incorrect results as it will be filtering based on the old selection criteria.

Thanks for replying to my post on configuring the Global Dynamic Parameters in XI.
Long back I wrote a piece of code that cleans the licenses the moment the end user clicks the "X" on the browser. This code was tested only against IE. If you need shoot me a email, I will send the code for you...
Is there any way of applying dynamic parameters on a global basis, instead of adding the logic at each report level? We have few parameters that are always need to be on the reports.

If this is a problem with all the reports look at the Job Server settings, is it "enabled"? You can this at the crystal configuration Manager and click on the enable/disable servers and check the server is enabled.
Are these reports event driven? If so, is the event occurs before the report is...
Custom events are used when one need to manually trigger the event.
Say you want to run a set of reports only after the end user confirms the data entry in the database is complete. Then simply click the custom event and all the reports that are waiting for that event will start running.
