For those who are interested, here is my experience with the 70-285 exam.
First off, I passed. 880 out of 1000 with 700 passing. Yay team!
Second, if you already have the experience and you need a test prep, TestKing is your best (money, format, etc) way to go.
Finally, here's what the test...
My company needed me to get 4 certifications very quickly in order to meet vendor partner requirements for discounts. I had to get MCSE 2003, CCNA, Unity and something called "CRSD" (customer response solutions developer). All together it was 10 exams in less than a month.
I say this to...
I'm planning to take 70-285 (Designing Exchange) around Tuesday this week. It sounds like the same "widowmaker" exam that nearly killed me on my 2003 MCSE last year.
If I read the summary right, it's 6 scenarios, each one 30 min or so long. You read a few screens of company info and attempt to...
I passed 70-284 on Friday.
30 questions
100 minutes
700 passing score
It was all radio button and checkbox multiple choice. No drag and drops, simulators, click-areas on a screenshot, etc. Just plain old questions with a few exhibits and the option to check for review or comment.
It was a...
I've been asked to delete an email off the exchange server itself, so that it never gets backed up, etc.
I know you can delete it from the inbox, deleted items, sent items, etc and then it will stick around for whatever the server retention policy is for deleted items.
What I'm looking for is...
I am sure this has been done, but can't find any mention of it on the net or in here...
There are things I want to do in the login script if the user has a sufficiently fast connection (LAN or broadband) but not if they are dialed in. I am looking for a utility which will report the network...
Once again, the point of the thread (based on posts that supplied actual information versus opinion) isn't so much bragging as to find out the high-low values.
How else would you find out that there are two versions of the 294 exam out there, one with a 400 point buffer?
Yes, we are all...
Well, bombed the CRS exam again (strike 3). I have been through the product documentation, CIPT course, Unity course, Boson and TestKing. Scoring in the 90%'s on both practice exams. Many of the questions in the exam appear on those practice, and I understand the concepts behind them. Now I'm...
Just passed the Unity exam (644-101, UCSA/UCSE) with a 897 (passing was 700).
Two words: Test King.
While I believe I could have squeeked by without it, that really put me over the top.
Just in case anyone else out there is feeling my pain.

I would love any help people could offer on CRS (exam 9e0-851) and UCSAE (exam 644-101). In plain english, it's Customer Response Solution and Unity.
I've attempted CRS twice, getting 709 and 692 (passing is 790). I've been studying the product documentation and using a practice test from...
Scaine, you are close but not quite on.
"Unified messaging" (in the gospel according to Cisco) means that your voicemail, email and faxes go to a single place and that, given the right client, you can view them all in one place too.
In Unity's case, you need to use Exchange or Domino as the...
I didn't realize that the M$ tests did that. I know that Cisco does. The most off the wall questions are usually "freebies" that they put there to see how they do (or to spook you, or maybe both).

And make measurable what is not...
My issue isn't with tracking high scores. It's with the margin of error that you have to pass.
In the case of 293, I had a 400 point "buffer" that other people taking the test at the same time didn't have.
On an 800-limit test, each question is worth about 22 points and you need at least 30...
I have to disagree with Nzath. 1000 is not always (ever?) the max score. On one exam (70-293) I got a 1049.
According to the instructor:
70-270 Passing 700, Max score 937 (we found this out from a student in our last class who had scored perfect on each subject)
70-290 Passing 700, Max score...
More to the specifically, Endpoints run just a small "snippet" of a program (called either an agent or a service or a daemon, depending on your background). The snippet runs just enough Tivoli stuff to let it find and connect to a real Tivoli server. Whenever a process (inventory, distribution...
News flash:
You can now take 70-220 INSTEAD OF 70-297. I find this to be a tacit admission of the inherent problems with the 2003 track test.
I'm happy for those who haven't had to deal with 297, although I'm also a little miffed about all the time and frustration I spent with it. I do NOT...
If you mean which endpoints are currently on, then one way (depending on your version) is to use the ls -i switch. You can pull the last_login_date and make some educated guesses (ie: grep for today's date, grep for anything within the last hour, etc).
That's one thought. I'm sure there are...
I understand your point. But you have to understand that the test you are taking (219) gives you **1 HOUR** per scenario and your extra time carries over. 297 gives you **20 MINUTES** per scenario and the clock restarts with each scenario change.
My point isn't about what the overall concept of...
First off, I passed this sucker in 2 tries, but I'm still mystified as to what it proved about me, about Microsoft or about the world.
For those who aren't familiar with the test, it's part of the Win2003 MCSE track. The current setup for the test is:
You get 4 "scenarios". Each scenario has 6...
Thanks for the compliment. And I wholeheartedly repeat: you need to know your stuff.
But you also need to know that there are truly "broken" tests out there. And that the material you need to know goes beyond "I've done that" type of experience. It also means you need to know the answers...
