    I believe the (3comcso RIP000) username and password combination will only work with 3Com 1100 and 3300 switches.

    Access List Problem

    In reading your post a couple of things came to mind. You probably have already made sure that you removed the access-list AND removed the line in vty 0-4 that applied the list. Has the login password been removed, or were any services disabled? Can you ping the router? I hope this helps.
