Here is what I found on the MS knowledgebase. Had the same error as you and called MS, they e-mailed me a fix.

Spybot, AVG etc might have cleaned the problem but if it is set in the registry to run at reboot you need to fix the key. Most times the key you need to fix it the....

I would do a search for all files that are larger than 1mb. This should clue you into what is eating your disk space. You might find a program that you didn't install.......aka Trojan or a user who happens to d/l music which would fill the space, and then burn it to a disk before deleting it...
lara,
if you enable auditing in group policy you can audit successful logons and logoffs. This will give you a username and time they logged on and when they logged off. In the system log???? it will show you if and when they printed. Hope this helps

Try this link to Symantec. It is a free online virus scanner that will tell you what files are infected and how to properly clean them.
I assume that this is a local and not a network printer. By installing the printer under the administrator account is should allow everyone else to access it (if it is a local printer). If not I would try logging in under the other user names and "add new printer" if need be use the...
The connection events are Logon Type 3, which indicates a network log on event. A successful Net Use or File Manager connection or a successful directed Net View to a Windows NT share generates Event ID 528, a successful log on event of Logon Type 3. An event is only generated by the initial...
Laptops (being portable) are often security risks on the network. If they are attempting to access the network 20 times in a few seconds, as Administrator, I would definitly run a virus scan on them. Symantec has a free scan on their website. Remember ....educating your users is often the best...
Just figured it out. My CIPE adapters were locked down too tight. When the traffic gets heavy it would open up other ports to use and then the adapter on the other end would not accept the incoming connection on the new port. I set them to accept from only each other but on any port. Thanks for...
I don't think you understand the problem. From X 192.168.1.x (w2k) I can connect, read, write etc to Y 192.168.2.x (NT). But I cannot get from Y back to X. It gives me a redirector time out. File sharing is enabled on both. I am not using NAT accross the WAN. I have registered IP addresses on my...
What time does your backup run? It could be creating tmp files as the backup is running. If the backup isn't running at 3am I would definitly run a virus check on the system. Many virus will try to fill a drive with temp files or garbage data to crash the drive.
Two networks
A - 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
B - 192.168.2.0/255.255.255.0
Network A (NT 4.0 server)connects to the internet via 768K DSL , network B (W2K server)connects to
the internet via T-1(W2K). Linux CIPE tunnel routes traffic between
networks.
PC X is 192.168.1.1 on network B and...
