Hi, I have a Ricoh 6200A CD-RW drive. Recently I used it to back up all my files to CD while I formatted the c:\ and re-installed my OS. Everything went fine until... I started putting the files back into the correct folders. I had no problem for a while and everything seemed to copy over...

It's not that - I discovered what it was... A network drive had been mapped on my system as E:\. When a USB cd-r was plugged in to write cds, it assumed D:\ for itself and the CD-rom was bumped up to E:\, which was already a drive, so the computer decided to keep the network drive and forfeit...
