Ok, if we set up a rule or out of office, the email will not be sent out externally, it is only sent to internal people. We are using Exchange 5.5, where can I change this setting??

Have you tried sending an email with an attachment using a different mail program such as Yahoo? I would try setting up a &quot;dummy&quot; account and test to see whether or not it is Outlook or your connection.
