Can I make appointment subjects invisible in busy search?

When people do a busy search they see the subject of appointsments now that we are using GW 6.5, this didn't happen with our 5.5EP setup. I can't find any setting that would disable this. Anyone know how to do this by user or globally? Thanks,

    shared address books

Looks like that is a 'feature'. One not too elegant solution is for them to make a new address book, then select all the addresses in the shared book and 'copy to' the new blank address book. Then they could sort as they needed. They may require more than read-only rights in the shared address...

    Printing to different printers

About 3 out of 1000 clients are having email from outside our system print on a different printer than the internal email. The other printer will be one that is only used for special forms for other programs. The clients can print external emails if they close the email and then select file ->...

    Address Book problems

Have you tried to run GWcheck32 against this mailbox? It should at least tell you why it won't run or it will give you a report on what it finds/fixes.

    Printed calendar gets time backwards

We use GW 5.5EP on Novell 6 Servers, latest patches etc. Most of our PCs run W2k. We recently changed the brand of PC and noticed that on the new PCs the calendars print out appointments with the times reversed. The older PCs running the same version on W2K and GW don't have this problem. When...

Proxy rights lost to view calendar

One of our departments uses the GW calendar to book appointments for staff. They all give proxy right/write access to each others apppointments so anyone can book an appointment for another staff person. We have had problems in the past when a users PO was changed and if others had that address...

Thanks. I've tried the PSshutdown and it will do what I wanted. I don't have the NT resource kit. John

Is there a way to shut down NT from a batch file?

Anyone know of a batch file that will shutdown, cold boot if possible, an NT workstation? I had some in the days of DOS but haven't heard of any lately. Thanks, John

    Deleting 1 message deletes several

We are running GW 5.5 EP, some of our clients are reporting that when they highlight and select delete of one message 2 or more are deleted at the same time. In most if not all cases the messages are in the trash folder, but it is still at best an annoyance. Any clues as to why this is...

    Deleted groupwise address book

Read Novell TID 10023748. It seems fairly straight forward and should go fairly quick. I think that mail coming into the account during the process may get lost, so you may want to wait for a slow traffic period.

    No address completion for groups

Clients have recently been complaining that address completion isn't working for groups that they have created. We have loaded the recent security patches to both server and clients. Does this patch limit address completion to individuals only? The clients can use the groups if they select them...
