    Backup on hard disk

    In fact this is a very cool method to back up. If you need to restore then it really quick. But I still back up my NAS Server to tape daily! Dell and HP have some really good offers on for NAS Servers at the momment. (400gb for around £1800)

    First search for all batch folders in the root of program files. See if they stop the services with a batch file (*.bat) then use that or the "Net Stop" command.

    A little hint, Novell supports long file names, and in NT file name up to the limit of 256, so when you transfer this may hinder your migration. Just a thought
