    To Wildhare: Your suggestion seems to be right on the money...The date is aligned to the left. However, the DataType is marked as Date/Time. Is there a way to change the field to a true Date/Time without having to reenter the data. The table contains about 5000 entries.

    To Wildhare: I assumed that that was the problem but I don't know how to verify it. Is there a way to tell whether the conversion actually changed the field from a text field to a date field.
