    Hi, thanks for your reply, not all tapes finished with this messages, but the most ! I think, the tapes are full and no write error occurs. But the messages occurs since we have upgrade the OS Solaris 2.6 -> 2.8. Regards JT2002

    Hi, setting the savesets-Parameter in the utl-file to 1000 is not necessary. Our rule: (DB-Size in GB/2)+5, i.e. your DB is about 500 GB, it works with 255 - 260. Look in the backint<SID>.log, how the datafiles are allocate to the save sessions. Regards JT2002
