I tried them both, no go. I then tried F53 from the operators phone. It worked. Is there a way to get merlin to accept that code from any phone??

OK That worked to get rid of the messages. But I should still be able to, independent of comet, dial feature 53 and an extention number of an analog phone and be able to have the Message light go on, no? Any idea about the intercom delay problem?
