Sorry, I should have included my specs AMD 1800+ XP Asus A7V266-E mobo Main HD Maxtor 80GB ATA 133 Other HD on seperate IDE promise controller WD 80GB ATA 100 Windows ME OS 384 megs of RAM 350 watt power supply- NOOBZZ

Hard drive or not??
Ok, I downloaded that neat little proggrie you suggested and It shoots up to 100% everytime I move a file to the main drive. It never goes over 50% when moving files anywhere else. It even stays under 50 when moving files around on the main drive. Its only when I move stuff from the second...- NOOBZZ

a:\ drive erases floppys when inserted
Make sure and check to see if the ribbon cable to the Floopy drive is hooked up correctly. If its inserted backwards, then anything you insert to it, will get erased. Caution, the floopy may still read disk, but sometimes after its been hooked up backwards, it may not write correctly anymore- NOOBZZ
