using the find command take a look at the mtime/ctime parameters which allow files older or newer that a certain number of days to be located. Then use the exec parameter to remove the required files.

To run a command or script in the aixterm window start the aixterm using the -e parameter which specifies the command to be run in the window. Note the window will close when the command finishes.
e.g.
aixterm -e yourscript.sh

There is a telnet bug in AIX 4.3.2 when using the default settings which run telnetd with the -a parameter. The result of which is the box appears to hang.
