Myself and colleagues use Multiple Call hanlding and works well, but I do agree with kschut. Depending upon the volume of calls and the state of your callers, I would tread carefully when utilizing this as an option.
We currently use version Definity 9.0 and there is a field on page 2 of the screen that is "coverage after forwarding". The options are y,n,s. If yes is chosen this will allow calls forwarded from the office to go into the voice mail at the remote location.
Just a note, once you have done all of this make sure the treatment is correct. On the last page of the auto attendant the 2nd column is treatment, ie.. call answer, transfer, etc...
Although you may not need 2 numbers in the switch you still need 2 seperate mailboxes, 1 as the auto atendant and the other is the mailbox for the individual. The condition for press 1 should be call-transfer and press 2 call answer where the 3rd number collects the messages for the person.
I think that you should go with the auto attendant. It's less clunky than the vdn,vector, etc... If your messaeg notes that the person is out it should tell the caller to press 1(?) for immediate assistance. Pressing 1 has the transfer condition in the auto attendant. Once the call is...

You should be able to just do "cha sta 5548" and remove the bridged appearance entry from the line. Do you see the b/a on the station when you do display or change?
