More to add The problem seems to be with the connection between the 3508 and the 3548 which are using the gigastack modules. Anyone have any input on the proper config for a point to point connection between switches using ws-x3500-xl modules. Danny

Baddos, Checked the logs on all 3 switches and nothing seems wrong. Did find that when you ping from one switch to the other there is no reply, try a couple of times and then no problem for a few minutes, then no connectivity again. Any idea's Danny

Roldan, I used a 3com 905B-TX 10/100 pci card. It is not on the approved list but installed with no problems. Also used a Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM pci video card for the monitor. Danny
