    Can a query be executed thru Windows Scheduler?

    I want to automate the execution of append queries that update data in an Access database from external file sources (either ODBC sources or a network flat file source). I'm not very familiar with writing scripts, but would like some way to schedule Access tasks to execute automatically.

    Oops, a typo on my part. I really was trying to use CNTL+X rather than CNTL+V and the CNTL+X is not an option for this field. Is there a property setting that will allow this control to be updatable?

    Problem resolved. The form's data entry mode property was inadvertently set to yes. Changed to No and I'm back in business.
