I want to automate the execution of append queries that update data in an Access database from external file sources (either ODBC sources or a network flat file source). I'm not very familiar with writing scripts, but would like some way to schedule Access tasks to execute automatically.

Oops, a typo on my part. I really was trying to use CNTL+X rather than CNTL+V and the CNTL+X is not an option for this field. Is there a property setting that will allow this control to be updatable?

Problem resolved. The form's data entry mode property was inadvertently set to yes. Changed to No and I'm back in business.

I'm running Access 97. The underlying query executes OK when it is run as a standalone query. The form was working OK until I started adding/modifying code tied to the form's event properties. I have now commented the code or removed the event code but the form still does not display any...
