Thanks Eva, I will see if restoring with the Agent works. Amidst all of my attempts, I can't recall if I was doing that or not.

I have been able to add Novell clients by connecting using and explicit login name i.e., user.OU.OU.O. Unfortunately, our restores using the Agent are never successful. I now backup without using the Agent and though it runs at 50% of the speed, I get good backups.

One final note: Ignoring the Agent option didn't work until I ran nt483pt2 on my Windows 2000 PC.
