Okay, where does that leave me now that I have updated my web pages with the code provided?
And how did Einstein47 give a star to Xutopia?

Xutopia,
Thanks for the code, I will 'upload' it to my pages on www.naips.co.uk in the next 24 hours.
Thanks again to all who replied, it's nice to know there's help out there when you need it.
Regards.

Thankyou for the quick replies.
I was trying to avoid lots of javascript and only wanted to display piece of text that would reflect the last time the web page had been modified (not accessed).
Boomerang your last piece of code:
<script language="javascript">...
I am currently using the following code to automatically indicate when the web page was last updated:
<script language="javascript">
document.write("The page was last modified on"+" "+document.lastModified)
</script>
The problem I have is 'cometic', the date...
What code do I put in to allow a user (who doesn't have Acrobat) to read a .pdf file online?
I checked out the FAQ on this but there doesn't appear to be a history of FAQs!

I'm using Office 2000, I can paste .jpg files into Word no problem. When I paste .jpg files into my Form in Access it doesn't display the picture but just the the frame and the name of the file.

I installed MS Word 2000 (for compatability reasons) and Outlook and then I installed WP8.
I am now told from 'time to time' that a recently installed program (which I presume...
A huge thanx to Lee Williams. If only everything else in this world was that simple to get rid off.

Thanks to all who responded.
We did a quick fix of closing down all apps that link to Messenger and then went to C:\Program Files\Messenger and renamed the little bugger to something else!

In reply to Jakespeare's post - we have performed a search for the file named SYSOC.INF without result.
We were in great hope there for a minute or two.
We operate Windows XP Pro and would like to remove Messenger or just stop it from autoloading when we check for emails.
We've checked the registry without luck, is there a way to disable it or are we stuck with it?
I have two computers networked at home and would like them both to update the calender events on Outlook 2000 and that update to show on both computers.
Is this possible, and if so, how?
