Is that the full log from the test email autoconfig? I would expect that if you were running this from a client connected to the domain you would see something alone the lines of "Attempting URL https://MYCASServer.DomainName.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml found through SCP" to indicate that...
Are you testing this from a client inside your domain? If so, is your Active Directory domain also riepf.com?
If you are testing this from outside your domain, have you configured an A record for autodiscover.riepf.com on your DNS servers?
You are going to have to go into your router and port forward 25 to the IP of your Exchange server to receive external mail.
When you send to an external address, what errors are you receiving? Are you getting an NDR in return? Do you see the messages you sent in the Queue Viewer?
There could be lots of problems lol.
For your receiving issues, have you:
-Configured an email address policy?
-Configured an accepted domain?
-Ensured port 25 is open and pointed to your Exchange server
For your sending issues, have you:
-Ensured port 25 is open for outbound connections...
Hey thanks sniper! I think that makes a little more sense.
One more question maybe you can help with or point me in the right direction. Replication schedules? In Sites and Services, there are 3 different places to set schedules. On the Site NTDS settings, on the connection objects under the...
Hi all,
I'm reading about setting up Active Directory Sites and need a little help visualizing something. I understand that to schedule replication between 2 sites, we want to create a site link that contains the two sites. Also we will want to assign a cost to these links.
Now lets say I have...
Ok, I'm really not trying to have a conversation with myself, but I don't see an Edit button, so I'll just throw this out there:
I disabled Integrated Windows Authentication on /Exchange and /Public virtual directories, leaving just Basic Authentication and when I went to my OWA url I got...
Well, just fooling around and tried enabling "Automatically logon with current username and password" in the Custom security settings for the Internet zone in Internet Explorer and when I browse to the OWA website now, it automatically logs me in fine. Why wouldn't it work when I enter my...
Hi all,
In a test lab I just installed an Exchange 2003 server. I have a mydomain.local, but I modified the default Recipient Update Policy to create mydomain.com (for future purposes, this box is not connected to the internet yet. All testing is being done internally).
The only other...
Hi all,
I'd just like to run this past some other IT professionals.
Let's say small Company A decides to lay off their only IT professional (lets consider a lone network or system administrator for example). Now Company A is having some issues and needs some help so they call the person they...
I figured that's what you were alluding to =]
If it helps, you can get your Exchange email on your BB, using OWA as well. You just need to give it your OWA address.
But as for calendars and stuff like that, you can't have that pushed to your BB, you'd have to sync using the BB desktop software...
This is the first I've heard of this. Are you sure? According to Symantec, SP2 is officially supported by BE 12.5

Thanks for the input sniper. I currently have Brightmail Anti-Spam Message Filter which has worked wonders...
With the invites, they don't have to reply though. They can just click Accept. If you really don't want them to have to do anything, what about turning on Auto-Accept for meeting invitations?
Would it not be possible to just have the secretary use the "Invite Attendees" option when adding the appointment to the public calendar? Then an appointment request would be sent off to each designer, they could accept it, and it would be added to their calendars.
Just my $0.02 :)
Hmm..thanks Dave.
I have considered 2010, but there a few considerations that would not make that a good choice. Firstly, the anti-virus I am using is not compatible at the moment. Secondly, I am going to be using Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 which is not compatible with Exchange 2010, and I...
Hello all,
I was hoping for some feedback. I am looking at replacing my aging Exchange 2003 server.
Currently I have about 50 mailboxes that total around 25GB.
I think given our company size and not wanting to spend a money on another server, I'll just be putting together one Exchange 2007...
