We have a similar problem with an Opt11. We haven't been able to figure out the cause yet, but we did discover that a reset fixes the problem. We dicovered this by accident when we had to take the cabinet down for another reason.

On ALL the phones you want to restrict you assign a TGAR. Preferably one that is not already in use. Then you assign that number as the TARG on any analog trunk routes (LD 14) that you don't want them to have access to.

It depends whether you are using a DTI/PRI trunk card or an analog one. With the analog it can be done with TARG and TGAR settings but it's more complicated with DTI.

Check your speed settings on the dip switches on front of SSC. Make sure these match your setting in ProComm. If this fails, try to connect with Hyperterminal at standard settings. This seems to work best for me.
