On our "Live" Instance we have removed the SA rights of the database team and enforced a policy of testing in a seperate environment before release into LIVE.
This is now causing an issue that they need to be able to see and monitor the "LIVE" log files, and i see no reason...
Thanks a lot for that, the problem seems to be caused by the Delphi apps that grab chnks of data and then let the database Autoclose, causing the entry each time the next request is sent.
Turning this off has meant the logs are so much easier to monitor.

I am repeatedly seeing the message "Starting up database 'DATABASE NAME'" in the SQL log files for some of the databases. This makes the log files very difficult to check the logs accurately and makes them very large.
This line tends to occur in batches of three or four, and all hours...
I have a Baystck 350T switch which is on a VERY early software revision (v1.x.x).
When i try to upgrade the boot code to a newer version, the switch appears to to accept the download, resets, and prompty loses all it`s IP configuration.
I have even tried applying v2, v3 and v4 and it rejects...
I have ben told that more than 6 Multi-link trunks can be set up from a BPS2000 pure stack, however in the web configuration it only allows 6 on the MLT config screen.
Am i missing something, does the next page option only appear when 6 trunks are already running, or have i been misled...
