Thanks Burt. Was looking around tek-tips and found a thread where someone was having the same issue. The problem, for whatever reason, is that my SDM_POOL_5 10.1.1.200 10.1.1.209 is in the same ip range/subnet as my local lan on Vlan2. So I changed the pool to a different subnet of 10.1.99.1...
Thanks for the quick response and help Burt
I just tried that Burt and it didn't work. I am able to ping the router IP of 10.1.1.50 and the Loopback2 of 10.1.3.100 but I still can't ping any of my servers located in the 10.1.1.0 255.255.255.0 network.
These are the access-lists now...
I'm trying to setup a Cisco Easy VPN server through SDM. I am able to connect to our VPN via remotely though the Cisco VPN Client. I am able to obtain an IP address through the VPN Client and I'm able to ping the local router ip address of 10.1.1.50. However I can't ping any other internal IP...

Do you know where I can get a copy of the SDM program so that I can access the legend via a laptop?
Hi,
Kind of in a pickle here. Just started at a new company and they have a Merlin Legend with a DS1 trunk. We are changing long distance carriers and the new carrier is asking for these on our DS1 trunk:
signaling type
supervising type
How can I find out which types I have? I do not have...
I just got the rv082 and its pretty sweet. I am having a problem though. I have a private dsl connection in a remote location. We will call this Router A. Router B is the router in my main location and allows Router A to access my AS/400 server (10.1.1.1) on my local LAN. Router C is my new...

Hey thanks again scott for all your help. Hopefully in the future I will actually get CCNA certified and then the higher up certs for cisco. I really fell in love with the cisco IOS after this learning process and could defitnely see myself doing this for a living.
Thanks again
Eric
svermill,
Thats exactly what I did. I saw that the Sprint guy was using the ip unnumberd scheme so I did. Then I did a route like:
ip route 10.1.2.0 255.255.255.0 Serial0
and it didn't work. But now its working like I had described above. Thanks again!!
Eric
Hey thanks guys! I got the routers up and running today. Both routers are running RIP version 2. I left the ip unnumbered in place not that I wanted to but when the routers started working I did not want to mess it up, lol. I do not have the config output with me but what I did was this...
I want to start and thank everyone for their help. I am not a router guy. I have played with a few Cisco routers here and there. There apparently was an arguement with the Sprint guy over the amount of time it was taking him to install the router. The guys was France and spoke very little...
Here is my situation. The guy from Sprint left because a dispute with my boss. Our 56k leased line is up and functioning. When I am inside router A i can ping router B and vice versa. The problem that I am having is that non of the pc's on the network for router A can see the pc's in router...
Ok all,
How would I go about making a RJ-48s cable. I have a wic-1dsu-56k card for my cisco 1720 router. I know that the RJ-45 jack is compatiable with the RJ-48s jack on the card. So with my RJ-45 cable how would I go about wiring it up for a RJ-48s.
Thanks!!!!!
Eric
I am kind of new to the router setup area. We have a 56k line from here to a branch location that we are trying to hook up.
In the manual of the wic-1dsu-56k card it says that I need to supply a rj-48s or rj-48c cable. When we hooked up the rj-45 cable it didn't work but if you wiggled the...
