I already have a setup simular to a VOIP Gateway using my cisco routers. There is to much limitation that route. Is the VOIP trunks on a BCM an key code option or standard. The best option for my needs is to use our current ethernet network. What I am looking for is there a way to achive this...
Is it possible and how to connect a BCM to a mics(do have a t-1/pri card) so that I can dial extentions on both ends and voice call to/from both ends. I have a private t1 with cisco 1751's on both ends. I currently have the mics and a 8x24 connected through loopstart lines through the router...
Go to the properties of the OU>Group Policy>Options check the No Overide. This will prevent the Policies above these OU in the chain from overiding the lower one.
I do understand what you want to do but you must understand that unless you want to create a new domain, you must upgrade the pdc first. After that you can do the rest of what you want to, after you have at least 1 other DC running AD you can demote the upgraded PDC and reload with a fresh...
If you install a new 2003 server you will have to
1. Create a new domain (2003 cannot join 4.0 domain.)
2. Leave the new server as a member server.
If you upgrade you PDC to 2003 first you will avoid a lot of headache. You can not however have exchange 5.5 on it. You will be able to use 5.5...

2. You can not run exchange...

check your backup schedule to see if you have the backup label as Tuesday on all days. I name the tapes by days of the week and number of the week(i.e. Friday-1, Monday-3, Tuesday-4) I use a four week rotation, by labeling this way ntbackup is looking for tape friday-1 on the day that it is...
You can also use FRS to replicate data to another server. Using DFS you can manager your shares, replicate data to a share on another server, so that if server A goes offline clients are pointed to server B.

Assuming that the exchange box has an exterenal connection, check to see that it is not listed in dns as the address for that box(the external address). If this happens the other box can not reach the address on the network. You have to make some changes in your dns if this is the case. I have...
