Thanks, I do own the Enterprise edidtion and I will go that route. Again, thanks for the help. It's been way too long since I've done any dbs programming etc and it's amazing how much I'm having to retrain myself :-)
It's been about a year since I've done any VB programming. My experience level is what I would consider moderate, but this is something I've never had to do before.
I want to design a VB6 Front End that will use the tables in a SQL 2000 Database but... here at home I do not have SQL Server or...
Why not just go buy a new cartridge?
Maybe it's empty, Maybe it's dried up, Maybe it's clogged.

Check the power supply transformer, it's the thing on the AC power cable sitting right between the wall and the Laptop. If it's working it should heat up. If it stays cold it could be the problem.

Sounds stolen to me.
Who would sell you a computer and not give you the passwords? And if they had a need to password the Hdd they would have been smart enough to wipe the drive clean before selling it to anyone.
Sorry, you may be an upstanding citizen but it sounds pretty shakey.

Rendering is a CPU intensive process. The faster the CPU, the faster the rendering. (get some more ram too!)
The difference between 100 and 133 is theoretical throughput. Chances are if your Mobo or Controller card supports DMA 100 it will support 133 but check with the Mobo or Cards...
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Click on Internet Explorer. A box will open and one of the choices is to "Repair". Give that a Try.

If this is a computer that is on a Network... possibly you've detached you NIC from the Network and it cannot find the PDC (Primary Domain Controller).
Just guessing

Try locating the file "shelliconcache". Delete it and then reboot. Windows will rebuild the file and hopefully correct it's own mistake.

You may need to go into the registry and remove any mention of the program. Also, make sure it's still not in a startup folder or something like that. Before doing the registry thing do a file search for that program and remove them.
