Ola...
We are using the HP/6-60 backup device with HP OmniBack software. I am backing up servers across the fiber connection and the lan connection. Quite a bit of configuration, but it is well worth it. The newest set back i have encountered is the speed differences between Lan and fiber. I...
We have tried the logging, but it dos'nt show where the breakdown in comms happens. We have also tried packet sniffing, but to no avail. I have read that their is problems with the Omniback software and Microsofts firewall product - they are incompatible.
Basically i think i just need to know if...
I cant get Hp Omniback software to back up throe the Firewall into a DMZ. Basically all rules are open for the two servers, as this is the testing phase. Has anyone else had the same situation. Ill post more detail if anyone replies to this.
Cheers
Solved the problem, but not the way i wanted to. I had to add the 2nd disk array as a different logical drive.
We had alot of problems with DFS, as the d-base was on the first array, causing the whole server to hang. Moved the d-base to the servers data drive, and all worked well.
Cheers
I have 1 x Hp FC/12 disk array currantly running as an E partition. I would like to add the 2nd disk array to that partition, and not as a seperate partition, eg: F drive.
What would be the best way to accomplish this, taking into account i cant lose any info from the current E drive.
Thanks.
