Thanks for the answers. I believe the problem was with the ISDN30 setup. I have now routed the ISDN to the Lab Meridian and instigated a QSIG link between the Meridian and the Ericsson, this works fine. I'll go back to the original setup when I can get someone to reconfigure the ISDN30 for...
Hi guys (and girls if there are any in the forum)
I have just finished setting up a basic single LIM MD110 with BC 7.2 (Yes I know it's old, its for my test lab). The problem I have now is that the system terminates every incoming DID number on the attendant console. NADAP looks fine as do...
I would have thought *23 was in the FFC! What is supposed to happen with *23, is it a speed call, or a call pickup, or ring again etc... Tim Russell

If you mean CDR I would use TTY2 or TTY3 not 0.
To set up CDR have a look at http://www.russellweb.co.uk/nortel.

The soloution is simple. What you are doing is placing a call into a Hold state (Transfer) and then you are transferring it to a voice menu. You do not complete the call tarnsfer as the original caller is on hold, but you ask Meridian Mail to make a second transfer on a call that isn't yet...
Yes it works in the UK but you have to understand the settings to make it work properly.
For this Year Summer Time begins 31/03 and Winter time begins (I think) 27/10. To set this in the Meridian you need to use the following prompt; FWTM which stands for Forward Time / Summer Time
The prompts...

If both 83 and 515000 use a similar, or the same RLI, so long as no DMI is used they will be routed the same. You will need to make a DSC for both of them though. Tim Russell

The way you can do this, although I DO NOT ADVISE USING IT BECAUSE OF SECURITY RISKS, is to use DISA[1], and then FFC's[2] to remote call forward a persons phone. It is however usually easier to ring a collegue and ask them to do it !

I used the Rick Change Feature on the Old M3820's and M2616's, I'm guessing it should still work on the M3900's.
You assign a Key 'RCK' and then use it to set your SCR keys to SCN keys. NTP's have a fuller description, or I can set it up and give some more info from the Lab here if you wish...
I'm finking that you maybe don't have a 6 number range ? IF so you may need a DMI to insert the extra digits.
eg:
Number in PBX A - 5000
Number sent to Line from PBX A - 5000
DMI Inserts 51
Number sent to PBX B - 515000
The DMI should be created with DEL 0, INST 51 and leave everything else...
