Okay. From the telco side; 800# points to the 274#. So if I just have the telco point the 274# to a DID on our PBX that will allow for the multiple calls?

Thats what shows up on the display when you call into the 274 or the 800 (which the 800# is transfered to 274# at the telco side). So it seams fitting that 274 and 800 both show 804-6 (would that mean Route 4 Member 6?).

These are T1 circuit of copper. Like I said before, I inherited this mess and I am in no way a PBX expert. Station programming, meridian mail programming I can do easily. The T1 trunk items I have not touched.

If a 2nd person calls 274-xxxx while 1st call is still in operation, they 2nd caller gets a fast busy.

The DN is idle. And yes, she can place internal calls while the transfered call is still in place. Thats what makes me believe its mostly a telco change the screwed this up. Plus the fact it was all working just fine 3 months ago.

Having an issue with our Nortel PBX. We get a call in from an outside line. We transfer it to another extension or even to an outside phone number and then hang up the phone. The call gets transfered but the incoming line does not get freed up. We can not get another call to that extension...

I am removing old mailboxes and cleaning out some of the old messages. Another question: The tally for Storage Used: Does that equal MB or KB? User with 200+ old messages (older guy that doesn't delete much) had a Storage Used: 83. Then after deleting 140 msgs, storage used was 44.

system is meridian mail. I did find a users mailbox was set to 001_STANDARD and has 146 messages. Cleaning it out now. Admin does have an extra key that is just for group mailbox. But it still does not light up right away.
