    181 GB Drives for Dell Power Edge 4400

    Not 18 gig drives, 181 gig drives. The disk vendor has assured us it will work so we have purchased the drives and hope to have them implemented in the next couple of weeks. Will post the results. Thanks for the feedback. merf

    We have a Dell Power Edge 4400 with a PERC 2/SC controller and want to install the new Seagate 181 GB drives. Dell doesn't support them yet. Anybody know if this can be done or not done? Thanks, Merf

    Seagate 181 GB Drives with Dell PE 4400

    We have a Dell Power Edge 4400 with a Perc 2/SC controller. Question is, Dell only supports the 73 GB drives but we want to install the 181 GB drives now available....has anyone tried this or does anyone know if it will or won't work? Thanks, Merf
