Big dreamweaver problem.
Theres a quicker way of doing this. When you creat ur photos in fireworks export the file to the destination dir so it comes as jpg its quicker to load and obviously small. export is in File>export try this and see. -
How 2 create a counter in Dream4

Keeping link on same page
In order to make the user stay in the same site u need 2 frames atleast and when you create a link set target to the main frame (whatever u name your target frame) so that ur links will be displayed on one and the target is displayed on the main.
