I'm still dealing with it.
Something in the security with window 2000 is my guess. I manually un-installed OE, and thought I was onto something, but I was disappointed.
I'm planning to address it with a virgin reload of both W2K and IE/Outlook.

I wanted to clone my Windows 2000 drive to a new drive using Ghost 7.0. I had boot problems on the new drive, so I tried again, using Symanatec's suggestion to use MS Sysprep tool 1.1, to perhaps help the cause. (it didn't help me). What it did do was create problems...
I tried to de-install / re-install according to procedure on MS tech site. Manual deinstallation was a pain, and after reinstallation, it still didn't work...
