On an install of Suse Linux Enterprise 9, I have a problem with the pound sign. It displays ok from the command line, but when editing any files in vi it only shows as a control character. locale is set as follows :
LANG=en_GB
LC_CTYPE="en_GB"
LC_NUMERIC="en_GB"
LC_TIME="en_GB"...
I am looking to cluster FTP on windows 2003. I have added a generic script resource and pointed it to C:\windows\system32\inetsrv\clusftp.vbs but this does not seem to stop/start/failover the ftp service. Can anyone help with what changes need to be made to the sample script ?

Getting the above error when trying to telnet onto an AIX 4.3.3 server. The number of licensed users is set at 99, and I am sure that not many people login to this server. Is it only telnet logins (ie. not ftp) that count towards the number of licensed logins ? I have increased the number to...

I did not have the processor option in SMS.
I have upgraded the system firmware to the latest level and it has resolved the problem - rebooted and both processors are now available.

I have added a second processor to an RS6000 7025 F40 server that is running AIX 4.3
The second processor shows as defined but is not available. How do I configure the processor so that it is available and stays available across further reboots.
