Hi BackupFanatic, take a look at the thread "AS 11.5 Disk staging slow" in the acrserve-backup-forum. It seems to the same problem, which was fixed by a patch from CA. This patch increased the stageingspeed to a multiple. I think all other tuning would be rather cosmetic!

Hi, the Testfix T46B119 from CA did solve our issues!! Staging speed is 2-3GB/Min! You should request this fix if you have simmilar issues. Greetings Otto

We have the same problems at one of our customers. It happened with SP3 and IPX IP is still ok. I think if you want to use this config (AS2000,IPX,NWAGENT) you either have to stay at SP2 or you have to use IP with all the performance drawbacks. CA seems completely ignorant about this issue...
