You need to put on Service Pack 4. File name:- QO19251.EXE
Then install the patch called:- QO19352.CAZ.
If you are using the agents then it might be an idea to use up to date agent from the patch:- QO19353.CAZ.

We couldn't get into the database. It was saying that it wasn't a recongnised format.
The problem is now sorted. There is a patch on the Computer Associates web site that fixed the problem.

We are using Brightstore Arcserve 2000 to do our backups. They are currently being compressed to fit on the tape.
The problem we are having is that when we try and restore a Access database it restores at a fraction of the correct size.

I have joined the domain and adding the users with smbpasswd -a UserName seems to work. But is there an easier way of adding the users or do I have to add them manually?

I have just installed Samba 2.25 on a Red Hat 7.3 box in an NT domain.

You could also check that none of the files are corrupt. As this would also result in a failure.
There is a registry edit you can do that will stop it failing on corrupt files. Check the Veritas site.
