Bios detects a different brand hard dive, so does the os, whats up?
you know what I solved this problem, I know its gonna sound weird with all the things I put myself through, but the problem was simply the IDE cable. the one i had in their was bad, I found this out when I changed it. I felt stupid at the time because its the easy things you forget to check...- hwnballa

Ok now this is really strange, like all of a sudden out of the blue, my bios shows that my second hard drive, is a different kind of hard drive. The size is correct in the bios, but it doesnt show the WDC 40a, it shows SDC and some other numbers. The bios shows the right size, but then...- hwnballa
