Hello i have winxp installed and the clipper program up and running. I have issues where if i have the clipper program in the back minimized my outlook or any other windows apps run slow. Is there antything i can do?
For clarification, I send .pcx files to hp printers (both laser and ink jet), epson lasers, and brother lasers. I do not need to send special control sequences to set page parameters, the default params work just fine. What is the name of the library that works well for printing .pcx files?

How do you print .pcx files on a laser printer using clipper 5.3 linked with blinker 5.1? Is a third party library required? If so, which one? I used to use Flipper with Summer 87. I look forward to hearing from those that have done it. Thanks.
Jock: Thanks for the response. I cannot use lpt3 because the plan is to send the output from the server to any of 10 network printers. So in other words, is it true that Clipper cannot print directly to a networked printer?
