CSS with IE and NN (plus site check)

RedShep I looked at the site and was impressed. None of the links go anywhere yet but I guess that you know that already. This site has a nice clean look to it. I think that's classy and something more people should strive to acheive. I always go back to one site I visit to see how nice basics...

    Site Check Please

Some gripes The thumbs for the photos were blanks. I didn't like that too much. You didn't know if you were downloading until the photo came up. Photo sizes were okay but still slow to load. The use of flags on the resume page is confusing. It worked okay but not sure of the relationship...

    Question from beginner...

Funkymonk No problem. Like I said, I've just learned this trick and found it really easy to do, yet very effective. Photoshop is so awesome and it'll take two lifetimes to get down all of the neat things it can do. euro

Now I get a javascript error on my pages and all of the extension verbage is still bloating my code. Is there a proper way to uninstall extensions from within...

    on-line graphic design training

I think that looking at what others have done is a really good way of improving. As an example, look at the Sony site below. http://www.sony.com This is a very clean and fast loading site. I thought that the moving text was Flash or some tricky stuff but it turned out to be dead simple, using...

    Trouble calling images

I think that it may be the GIF callout being in uppercase. Try changing this to lower case and see if it helps. Mike

    Uploading with Dreamweaver 4

Newtoit When I uploaded my files via DW, I got the directory too. What happened is that the main file, which should be something like index.html was actually filename.html. Go into the directory on your host and rename the file to index.htm or index.html and it should work properly. HTH euro
