Got the trunk registered :). Doorphones work perfect (y)
I had it calling BCM-FreePBX when it was on "Public" using 89 to dial to FreePBX. I removed the public now I have "89" as dest digits in the private routing table it doesnt call out to the FreePBX.
I also still don't understand how to set...
I have my dial patterns set up as 2xxx for BCM digital, 3xxx BCM IP Phones, 4xxx BCM hunt groups
I tried using Outbound, Inbound, Send & receive. I still get not found from 192.168.1.245:5060 on the BCM
This is how I have my target lines setup:
Voip.ms trunk calls coming in on Target lines 125-127 get routed to separate IVR's then to the appropriate extension or hunt group.
Calls coming in from freePBX target lines 128-129 are added to the current BST doorphone hunt group 474 set to ring...
Off topic: Is there a device FXO FXS I can connect to the Hikvision doorphone and have it ring a line?
I have a client with a Panasonic Hybrid system that I was thinking I can come in on one of the CO lines for the doorphone.
You got it @Firebird! I've been wanting to get around to this for a while.
@daniel0581 what are the BCM and FreePBX extension numbers?
also in target lines those are the FreePBX extensions coming inbound?
How do they get treated like a regular extension through target lines? eg BCM dial tone...
Ahhhh yes that will be helpful. Thats what I originally wanted to do. Just dial 474 from free PBX and have it call the hunt group instead of setting up routes ect.
Right now I just have the doorphones on freePBX so I just need to page to the Freepbx from BCM as the doorphones are hotlined to...
Yup! been at it for a while finally got it.
Sure I'll post screenshots of my settings.
It's pretty simple.
"Setup extensions on Freepbx.
Create a trunk on both ends with the same User and Pass point the BCM to the FreePBX and vice versa.
Create an outbound route on Freepbx and link it to...
yup that was the issue. I set target line 128 to ring on hunt group 474. Solved!
Pressing The Hikvision Door phone Dials 8415 which is received by target line 128 and delivered to hunt group 474.
Looks like I'll have to make a trunk for each of the 5 Doorphones so the CID info passes through...
Hey all,
I'm trying to connect a BCM50 to a FreePBX instance via sip or H.323. So I can get SIP phone functionality on the BCM50 for Sip Video doorbells.
I'm looking to get the doorphones on the freepbx to ring the current doorphone hunt group 474 on the BCM.
When I try to connect sip BCM says...
Only asking because I saw this line in system resources. I thought I can could get a couple to work for nostalgic Merlin tones on my bcm lab system [upsidedown]lol
I'm doing an ip500 this week the customer has a bunch of partner phones i'll through in some NIB 1616's hahaha
Hahaha the way back machine :)
Its not a bad system for a small warehouse/office/home setting still pretty capable, easier to work with than Cisco call manager. I'm not too fond of IP Office.
Its not imperative to have PTT its a good concept, but according to the specs it runs down the...
Yup biv343 for the win!! [star]

Update...
PTT will only work on SVP access points.
WLAN Phones work fine on linksys velop ap's but no PTT functionality.
I tried it on a cisco 1200 SVP approved AP and it worked. I cant go more than 2ft from the 1200 though [lol]
I'm going to get a Nortel WLAN switch with a few 2230s and...
