Check the settings in the phone, there might be a country code setting that is enabled that you need to turn off. We had a similar issue with Ayava Phones and the issue was in the phone settings not the PBX.
Not that I know of. This is also quite dangerous since it could open a window for a malicious forward to a toll number that could create a huge phone bill. I would stick to preprogrammed fail overs that act automatically.
In your outbound route that selects the trunk to the CM you should be able to add an optional destination on congestion. Make the destination a ring group that rings to extensions on the UCx that you want to pick up if the CM trunks go
Announcements for CM actually live on a G450 or other media gateway. I dont know how you get them off AMS but to but to use announcement files in CM you need to enable the VAL(announcement board) on a G450 media gateway and then you build the announcement in CM pointing it to a wav file you load...
getsomesun1, Thanks for the document. I had thought about setting up the link to our CM instead of SM but we would prefer to use SM. I did try the TCP but this is UCX 7 and so I added this string to the Peer details (transport=tcp) and still did not work. I am thinking this is either a...
The public unknown sends to the other NON-UCx SIP Entity in the failed call. I think it is treating it the same once it realizes it cant send a call to the UCx. I do have a dial pattern in for each extension I am trying to send to the UCx
I already have multiple other SIP Entities working just...
Here are the SM traces. Again I have masked domain and IP info. 6AURA is the Aura phone and 6UCX is the UCx phone. First trace is a completed good call UCx-->Aura and the second is failed Aura-->UCx
On the failed attempt the Aura tries to hand the call off to a different SIP entity when it...
I changed/masked some IP info and the domain. 6###1 is the Aura Phone and 6###2 is the UCx phone. These are traces from my CM, I will get some from the SM as well but I found there is more info in the CM trace. First trace is UCx --> Aura that works. Second trace is Aura-->UCx that fails...
Has anyone ever set up a SIP trunk to Avaya Aura Session Manager. I have added the trunk in the UCx and I have added the UCx as a SIP Entity on the Session Manager. Its all UDP. I can place calls from the UCx to the Aura but the Aura cannot place calls to the UCx. When I do a call routing...
Here are DCH messages on my CS1000E sip trunks.
When I route the call through a different CS1000 to get to my CS1000E I do not get the 104 at the front of the called DN. Where do I have that taken out. The System that my 1000E hands off these calls to does not like that 104. Also We are...
I have a tie trunk between a CS1000 and CS1000E. The CS1000E then has SIP trunks to another system. When I try to complete a call from the CS1000 that routes through the CS1000E the 3rd system is rejecting the call due the dialed DN being unknown. It looks like there is a "104" being added to...

I was able to renew it in the UCM.
Under "Certificates" you can select which endpoint address you want to manage. This will show you all the certificates.
If you click on "Web SSL" you will get a pop up window that gives you the following options
Export a certificate and its private...
Turns out that I could install a new WebSSL cert and after a restart of Jboss with a new WebSSL cert installed it overrides the default certificate and the problem is fixed.
I found that one also but I that was for a valid certificate and the time on the server was wrong. I actually have a certificate that is going out of date and need to replace the certificate.
I have a CS1000E
Type: Nortel Communication Server 1000E CPPM
Version: 4021
Release: 700 Q +
The current default ssl certificate is expiring. The private Cert Authority is still good so I figured I would just go into the UCM-Security-Certificates and renew it. All the manuals say that you...
We recently moved two T1's from Ciena 3500 Sonet to Ciena 3932 TDM over Packet for transport between two CS1000 PBXs. Moving these T1's has caused frame slip errors DTA017 at a rate of 3-5 per hour. We think it has something to do with the clocking on the 3932 switch interrupting or corrupting...
