We are experiencing a problem that caused VB to crash when right clicking on the Crystal designer, selecting Designer then Default settings, selecting the SQL tab and then choosnig Stored Procedures. When you come to exit VB after doing this, VB locks with no error. Has anyone else had this problem.
We have had a similar problem with reports through VB. It turns out that we didn't have a printer set up on the machine we create our OCX's on. Installed a printer, rebuilt the OCX's and hey presto, the reports print.
We use the freebie version of Crystal Reports 6 that comes with Visual Studio but there is no help file. Does anyone know where I can download this help file from.
It would make life so much easier if I had this file.
Cheers
Julian

if {@FETCHBalanceOwing} - {@AgentClientTotal} <> 0 then
"Discrepancy"
I would not expect to see...
Thanks for the reply.
I know very little about Crystal Reports and have inherited the title of Crystal Contact at my company.
Basically I have a report that has 4 groups (Insurer, Executive, Policy Type and Transaction Type). These 4 items also appear in 4 list boxes as part of a sort option...
Help!
I am getting this error message when I try to view a report embedded in VB. I think it means that there is a problem with the sort criteria but I can't see one in my report. Can someone help me please.
Thanks
I am new to CR and have a query about reports and subreports.
On my main report I have a formula which gives me a total amount of money. I then want to have a field on my subreport that is linked to the field on the main report.
Or the other option is to be able to refer to fields on the main...
I'm new to Crystal Reports and would like to know how to take the value of a formulated field on a main report and put it into another field on a subreport.
Its probably really really easy!!
