The GROUP ID is set in CM on page 3 of the station form.
The 46xx settings file is used to assign attributes to that group. We use this to download different parameters to subsets of phones in our network.
We recently ported DID numbers from PRI to SIP. On PRI trunks, the agent received the CID Number. Now on SIP trunks, they receive the CID NAME.
Agents are split between remote and on prem. Remote are using One-X agent, on prem are using 6416 sets. Both behave in the same way.
