I search the forum but could not find an answer for my problem... So here it goes...
I have a user that can not log-on to a W2k server from his W2k Pro machine. I receive an error saying that either the password or the domain info is in error. But when I check domain (config is ok) and reset...
When you say "2 pcs and the ethernet cable are hooked to the hub" you mean that each PC has its own cable hooked to the hub?
You should have 3 cables hooked to the hub. The modem's and the 2 PC's. There should be no problem having that configuration. What make/model hub do you have?
As far as...
Do you have a DSL modem hooked to the hub in addiion to the 2 PC's?

Thanks to all... I see I [probably] took the right action.

It's known that Intel's cams and video apps give certain amount of trouble, even under W98. Try using another cam and see if the problem re-occurs. Also check for any updates to the webcam's driver from Intel. Networker1 - Rent-a-PCTech.Com

You can also change Primary Boot IDE's on the BIOS. Change from IDE-0 to IDE-1 and viceversa.
Still, I would go with ff1048's answer. It's the logical, non-trouble, and easiest way to do it.
